The job of a skeptic is to investigate the unexplained; not to explain the uninvestigated.

Asking: What is the most good for the most people?
Sample Issue: Should the Feds provide all babies with free diapers?

Adrenaline is just a signal to the brain that death is near. Not my idea of enjoyment. It only feels good when it's over. Like hitting your head with a hammer because it feels good to stop.

Another form of chemical addiction:

Often fatal. Nothing gained but an illusion. It's a milder form of Russian roulette.

Too harsh. I got adrenaline rushes off of sports and hobbies and girls. I actually stopped flying when the rush required I see how low on fuel I could get and still make my destination. Stupid. ..............or was that boredom with no rush at all? HAH!!! I still recall the "confidence" I felt contemplating having to dead stick it in should my estimates be 3 minutes off.

It was time to quit. Sports, hobbies and girls. aka: Beer.
