OK we'll have this one and George Martin RIP can be used to comment upon those who are leaving the building or those who have already checked out.
"We are still waiting for anyone to rebut the main theme of the article that the decode in question and the numbers it quoted perfectly match those in the Korherr report.

Until such a rebuttal comes to light and goes through peer review the article stands the test of time. And after 10 years since the article was published both Peter (Witte) and I have moved on to other research projects. "

Any metalheads around here?

Yes a few, and death metal heads.

Staying on the subject:

Salem is conscidered Israel's first Metal band, and this song is actually a metal rendition of a famous Yiddish song called "Our Town is Burning" (= "Ha'ayara Boeret" in hebrew), a song which was written about some random 1920s pogrom in Poland but became sinonimos with the Holocaust. Intrestingly, this song ended up being discussed on in the Israeli parliment, with some conservative polititains saying that playing a "Holocaust song" in such way is blasphamous. However, it wasn't banned as originally suggested and today it's conscidered a classic.

There was a song by some Amerikaner punk band called the Dead Johnsons or something about some Nazi punks being told to go away. It has a swear word in it? Do you know that one SM?

LOL

Whilst visiting Sweden and riding a bus, I watched a behemoth in black - but wearing a kilt - board; he turned around and I saw that on the back of his bulky leather jacket in sloppy white was painted, "Nazi punks {!#%@} off."

This song mentions Hitler. For many people it is one of the best songs ever written.

A sober appraisal would put Himmler himself in the racially average band, or to some extent even below it: his face was round rather than oval, his nose more broad than slim, his normal bearing more ‘sagging’ than erect...
Longerich: Himmler

Hhhhhhhmmmmmm, is it possible that Carlo Mattogno is the greatest scholar the world has ever known?

I finally got to see Iron Maiden live last summer, at Graspop Festival in Belgium*. Almost cried. I grew up listening to them since I was 11 years old.

*Also seen: Jonathan Davis, Ghost, Avenged Sevenfold, Seether, Arch Enemy, Megadeth, Body Count, Limp Bizkit, Lacuna Coil, Judas Priest, Ozzy Osbourne and A Perfect Circle.

I’ve seen Ozzy once, back in 1983 at the Texas Jam.

I like Ghost, Seether, Megadeth, Judas Priest and Body Count.

I was hanging out in Berlin
In the year one thousand nine hundred and thirty nine
I've seen Hitler's storm troopers
March right across the Maginot Line

I've seen two world wars
I've seen men send rockets out into space
I foresee a holocaust
An angel of death descending to destroy the human race
