Police in Toronto say a psychic has been charged with pretending to practise witchcraft after a customer allegedly paid more than $100,000 to have an "evil spirit" removed.

Every one who fraudulently

is guilty of an offence punishable on summary conviction.

"Undertakes, for a consideration, to tell fortunes"? Aren't all financial advisers witches according to that definition?

illegal religious practices, tempting to almost want to stand up for. but can you imagine? the claiming of others' accident, coincidence image voice and narrative and dilemma to essentially say they were doing things they were never doing, saying things they were never saying and trying to procure power from others by tricking them into believing an illusion that is dangerous. imagine, the power of collective belief and the power of hypnosis in collective understanding: placebo in the madness of crowds and popular dilutions (Mackay). convince enough people of anything, it can carry for centuries. This is a good law to be rid of."...

If you ask me, D&D larpers should be held accountable for their actions.

On the other hand, duelling will be legal again. That should make for more interesting political campaigns.
