The Norwegian frigate "KNM Helge Ingstad" lays partly submerged in the sea near Bergen, western Norway, Tuesday Nov. 13, 2018.

Not a very well-written article in general. What's your opinion about that, Gord?

SCTV produced their shows on a budget of $3000 per episode. That proves you don't need to spend much money to get good quality.

The Pasco County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene of a domestic battery in the 2400 block of Hoover Drive in Holiday, Fox 13 News reports. When they arrived, there was a slice of pizza on a chair, with cheese and sauce on the floor nearby, according to an arrest report.

No, but I was late for an exam at uni and I unknowingly parked in a handicapped parking zone. I was given an AUD $655 parking fine. (about USD$500)

I deserved it. Some poor handicapped person had to drag themselves from wherever they parked, to their house.

When I was at KU, there was a $500 ticket for parking in a handicap space, $100 ticket for parking in a space without the correct permit (faulty/staff, student, facilities, etc.), but only a $20 ticket for parking in a place that wasn't a designated parking space. So if you were running late and couldn't find anywhere to park, you could just park on the grass with minimal consequences.

These aren't the exact numbers, but they're as close as I can remember

I got a parking ticket at Purdue for parking in a "No Students" space. I called them and told them I'd graduated and wasn't enrolled any more. They said I was still on the rolls. I asked them for the date on that document. It was fourteen months old.

Sweet merciful crap.

https://www.wtsp.com/article/news/regio ... 883b688f8e
...Now the internet is asking: What's your Florida man story?

Appearing first to be popularized from a Tumblr post last week, people are asked to Google "florida man," followed by your birthday....
Hmm, okay.

https://www.ajc.com/news/gps-ankle-moni ... inO6xr5eK/
GPS ankle monitors tie 2 Florida men to slaying, police say
Well, THAT'S not funny! Or is it? Let me read further:
...Two South Florida men accused of fatally shooting a 22-year-old man were caught because they were wearing GPS ankle monitors, the Sun-Sentinel reported....
I guess that is marginally funnier.

Was really hoping for better though.

Floridaman shoots self in scrotum. Bullet went through his penis and out between his legs. He was packing an automatic, safety off and cocked, in his belt while driving on an unpaved road leading to his shooting club.
