"Being Wrong", by Kathryn Schulz

One of the best books I have read this year, and one of the best books on the workings of the mind I have ever read. She knits together philosophy, psychology, neuroscience and history quite well, and covers a great deal more ground than the title suggests.

This is one of those books to read once a year, perhaps, as there is enough raw material and subtle message in it that every reading is likely to provide new insights.
