What About Me

What About Me, Movie
Not sure what I just watched. At times it seemed like a parody of itself. I like the world music, the mixing of rap and sitar and all that. You might find it hard to finish if you don't like that. It has about 2 minutes of worthwhile content, besides the music. It's an overview of gurus around the world, way too much Eckhart Tolle for my taste, Deepak comes in late, but then there's Noam Chomsky, and Stephen Fry gets a cameo in the middle. And the fundies get a guy in there too, that's the weird part, are they trying to show that the Christian idea of saying the flesh is dead due to sin is just like the guru who says you have to release yourself from your desires? Or is that just my take on it, so that's what I see?

They use a lot of indigenous people, dancing and singing, and spend several minutes letting them vent about how exploitative that is of them. Weird wild stuff.
