So discouragingly predictable...

Why is it we are no longer surprised or shocked at stories like this?
“It is certainly sad and regrettable that so many innocent people died…Stalin was absolutely adamant on making doubly sure: spare no one…I don’t deny that I supported that view. I was simply not able to study every individual case…It was hard to draw a precise line where to stop.”

Why should it be surprising or shocking to learn that pastors behave much as their congregation does?

The linked story headline is: "Anti-Gay Pastor Resigns Over Allegation He Slept With Prostitutes". I don't need to read another such story. Its routine.

I am surprised that he resigned... he could have simply said that he was doing research, or trying to recruit, or that he didn't actually enjoy it...

Not only Haggard, also Jimmy Swaggart, Peter Popoff, Jim Bakker, Robert Tilton (although the crimes of Tilton and Popoff were fraud, not sex). They are living proof of the Trump dictum: You can do anything you want; nothing will shake the faith of the morons who send their money in.

And today, we learn that even the relatively civilized and urbane Catholic Church has its own priorities. John Paul II knew that McCarrick was diddling the choir boys, but made him a cardinal anyway. After all, what are a few messed up boys' lives in comparison with getting a powerful foe of abortion into Washington, DC?

Sleep with all the prostitutes you like.
Speak out against futtbucking if you like. That's your opinion.

Killing is a disproportionate response to a rape. You're just being as emotional and self centered as the whore mongering futtbuckers you think ill of.

Too similar?
