Concerning Scrabble

Post by Tom Palven » Wed Aug 22, 2018 2:56 am

I have not been able to find any opinions as to whether total scores in a scrabble match are affected by whether the first word is centered horizontally, centered vertically, or pushed to the right, left, up, or down.

Except where there is a double points square involved, I would want to place the first word where it would be easiest to build future words.

I would seem unlikely that the placement of the first word makes no difference at all.
