I'm off traveling for a good three months soon for a gap year; but I highly advise you to use google scholar and the scientific articles henceforth [published now in very respected journals] on these issues. scrmbldggs.

I do not post my posts out of a vacuum; they are all based on of highly referenced scientific literature. The only real thing standing in our way at this moment is politics, the law and the paten-able purely profit driven pharmaceutical industry vs natural [free] natural sacraments.

The main issue we face now are the Issues of mainstream media outlets and how this is covered by them. If not profitable; they will not cover. There are a few exceptions to this rule.

You seem to have things a bit backwards in regard to McKenna (emphasis mine):

Novelty theory and Timewave Zero

...

Novelty theory is considered to be pseudoscience.[10][11] Among the criticisms are the use of numerology to derive dates of important events in world history,[11] the arbitrary rather than calculated end date of the time wave[27] and the apparent adjustment of the eschaton from November 2012 to December 2012 in order to coincide with the Mayan calendar. Other purported dates do not fit the actual time frames: the date claimed for the emergence of Homo sapiens is inaccurate by 70,000 years, and the existence of the ancient Sumer and Egyptian civilisations contradict the date he gave for the beginning of "historical time". Some projected dates have been criticised for having seemingly arbitrary labels, such as the "height of the age of mammals"[11] and McKenna's analysis of historical events has been criticised for having a eurocentric and cultural bias.[6][27]

The Watkins Objection

in 1994, the British mathematician Mathew Watkins of Exeter University (then a Cambridge PhD student) conduct a mathematical analysis of the Time Wave. Watkins claimed there were various mathematical flaws in the construction of the wave. He stated that when the mathematics was accurately performed a more trivial and uninteresting waveform was created, which was not fractal but a complex piecewise linear progression.[27]

zeuzzz wrote:haha yea one his worst ever 'predictions'. Based on theory of a 'time wave' in which the two forces in play are habit vs novelty.

Once he learned that the Mayans also has 2012 as a date of 'the end of the world' he did sometimes use that as a date, but took a far different more technologically grounded approach to it, and said it would be more like when time becomes delineated (thanks world wide web of information spread) and thus said a few things about it as such; that all linear subjects (due to the confluence of technologies and worldwide connectivity via the world wide web) would be impossible to predict henceforth.

There became too many congruent variables after the roughly 2012 mark to make any more accurate further predictions on anthropological considerations in a globally connected and more technologically informed world this regard.

And you seem to have learned your math from McKenna. :-P

Which one? The only one listed on his wiki page is Kathleen Harrison:

No Zeuzzz. you are a follower, not a leader. McKenna sells books to you. You don't sell books to McKenna. You follow him. He never knew you even existed. :D

So far your insane pseudo-scientific posts have included.......
1) Magic mushrooms caused modern man to evolve over 5,000,000 years,
2) There is DMT in the Pineal gland.
3) There are not enough genes to define a human,
4) Epigenetics can cause new genes to pop into existence by magic,
5) Conscious thoughts can influence new gene creation,
6) There is an over arching direction to standard evolution,
7) The modern human neocortex only evolved 30,000 years ago,
8) Apes on hallucinogens are better hunters and have more sex,

I think this post you made can explain all your other posts.

Do you have a main salient point from the above wikipedia(ish) quotes?

Because I have two choices now. I either dissect the above, point by point; or you summarize it for something I can reply to more succinctly.

[i'm ignoring Matt for now, as he's become more like an angry grandpa; feel free to quote him tho]

Zeuzzz, you idiot. You didn't even read the science papers Sweetpea was posting. You also announced to the forum that your were unable to read science papers because of your long term extreme ADHD. :D

Since you asked these eight questions, I have started a brand new thread; just for you.

http://www.skepticforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=32&t=26204

Maybe you can explain what you mean more thoroughly, and then the overachieving goal and aim of it all; thanks.

I will not able to be online for a good few days but will dissect your points one by one very soon.
