But Edgar ... You haven't provided any evidence that YOU have any clue about it. Any intelligent person can see that. Except you.

Let me fix that for you: "But Edgar ... You haven't provided any evidence that YOU have any clue about it. Any intelligent person can see that. Except you."

When you write one, we'll all read it. Probably just the one copy between us, so it may take a week.

I was going to buy a couple of Edgar's books to tear them apart on the forum. However Edgar would simply start complaining about copyright violation or tell other forums that a skeptic forum was very interested in his theories.

LOL!!!

Good alibi of not buying real science books..

Some alibis are:

1. I am tired
2. I don't have eye glasses..
3. My mother will scold me...

I buy real science books. I was going to pull your joke pamphlets apart, in public, so we could all laugh at you again and again, and also so other people could find my skeptic review using search engines. :D

Can you send me a couple of your "Science books" so I can start? No? Chicken!

Not worth bothering, Matthew. All of Edgar's work consists of the same small handful of unfounded statements, and all of those can be boiled down to goddidit. That's it - that's the sum total of Edgar's profundity.

Here you go ...

1. Take a bit of an animal. Edgar's fond of eyes, but it could be a kidney, a nose, even (dare I say it) a penis.
2. Declare that such a thing is so wonderful that it can't possibly have just happened.
3. Declare that if it didn't just happen, it must have been caused.
4. Therefore god.

The above is a perfectly accurate and very fair summation of Edgar's beliefs and techniques. Edgar will argue with this and demand that you buy his books so you can see for yourself how wrong I am (I'm not - much to Edgar's chagrin, I have read his books). Edgar's a real bundle of fun.

As I keep telling him, although he refuses to listen, every single trilobite which ever existed argues against him.

...as well as some trilobites who never existed, too. At least, that's how I picture him -- surrounded by imaginary trilobites, and arguing with them.

"Buy my Real© Science® Books™!"
"No, Edgar℠! Your propositions are foolish and you imagine talking trilobites!"
"You don't know the Real© Science®!"
"Kiss us, Edgar℠, we love yooooou!"
"Mwah, mwah, mwah!"
"Mwah, mwah, we love you Edgar℠, mwah, mwah!"

...wait, where was I going with that? :hmm:

Rats, I missed one: ℗.

Fascinating one hour show on TV about how the eye "probably" evolved.... or at least showing many stages of different development that if all stringed together would show evolution. It all starts with being light sensitive.....and then add a few million years.

Silly to the point of willful denial/lying to reject the natural evolution of the eye. Now.... the incorporation of mitochondria.....god musta done THAT.

I'm engaged in a healthy debate with him on Youtube. As I'm sure you could guess, he's gone into great depth describing–in flawless english– his discoveries and presents ample scientific evidence to support his claims. I'm just so intrigued by his ground shaking discoveries; I want to learn more.

I just sent him an invite to come back 8-)

I don't want to listen to him ramble, can you give us a hint about whatever "evidence" he ever comes up with? 'Cause, to date, I've seen none.

There is evidence all over Edgar's books of his intriguing and completely novel use of the word 'therefore'.
