As per usual, you didn't actually read your own link and don't know what you are talking about. The rail link to the shared Kaesong industrial zone has not reopened and the zone itself remains closed.

The South Koreans removed mines in the "truce DMZ" starting September and removed some guards but you weren't paying attention.

"The South Korean troops will try to focus on taking out mines on the southern parts of Panmunjom’s Joint Security Area and the so-called “Arrow Head Hill,” where one of the fiercest battles during the Korean War happened. Seoul officials believe the remains of about 300 South Korean and U.N. forces are in the Arrow Head Hill and likely many Chinese and North Korean remains too.

It's about recovering bodies which is another agreement.

Skeptic society members and historians, who support the ICC, do not support your beloved Fox News commentator John Bolton who wants to eradicate the ICC concerning these bodies and war crimes forensics.

I went back to S.E.A. in '08 to help a PAVN colonel find something he'd lost years ago, his father. It was an informal quid pro quo trip, paid for by someone who would later benefit in a similar fashion to the col.

This is a news update:

Matthew reads Tom Palven's link which actually says
"Among the items ratified were the decision unveiled yesterday to totally demilitarize the Panmunjom truce village, leaving only 70 troops there"

"He also authorized a ceremony to celebrate the re-connection of road and rail links."
There only is one road and rail link Tom Palven, which is in the Panmunjom DMZ. The Kaesong Industrial Region (joint industrial area) transport rail and road remains closed, since 2013.

How is this a "conspiracy" as you claim?

In this thread you are claiming a secret Peace "conspiracy" because North & South Korea issued a public press release about opening a road in the DMZ. Two months ago you claimed the "USA Deep State conspiracy " was going to stop peace between the Koreas, when, in reality, it was Jong Un who simply refused to decommission NK's nukes. Are you now claiming Jung Un is part of the "USA Deep State Conspiracy?"

You also previously claimed Trump was the good guy being tricked by the evil "USA Deep state" and pretended to forget that Jong Un refused to decommission any nukes .

Peace had already existed on the Korean peninsula since the armisitice was signed in 1953

The Kaesong industrial park (joint economic zone) remains closed since 2013 because Jong Un had developed a ICBM that can reach the USA.

Jong Un is now claimed he has thermonuclear hydrogen bombs and has refused to eliminate his nukes

Tell me how peace has "broken out".

Maybe you should have followed our own advice and followed the links to the end.
SEOUL (Reuters) - The two Koreas agreed on Monday* to begin reconnecting rail and road links, another step in an improving relationship in spite of U.S. concerns that the rapid North-South thaw could undermine efforts to press North Korea to give up its nuclear weapons.
The two sides agreed to hold ceremonies in late November or early December to inaugurate work on reconnecting railways and roads that have been cut since the 1950-53 Korean War.
Mind you, there are some problems showing up in implementation of previous agreements, but progress is progressing.

*The story is dated Oct 14, a sunday, so I am assuming the Monday referred to was the 8th.

North and South Korea had joint industrial zones and friendly relations from 2002. I have told you that ten times. The industrial zones are closed and now North Korea has nukes and ICBMs. Jong Un murdered his brother in public in Malaysia, last year. How is this normal relations?

Bollocks.

I don't even receive the Fox News channel.

I heard on our strongest local radio channel, 104.5 FM, a few days ago, that Limbaugh was going to be on the Hannity TV show and thought it might be interesting and tried to turn it on at 9 PM, and couldn't get it.

Turns out that although I get the regular Fox channel with my aerial, Fox News channel is different and is on cable only, and I don't get cable, and I have never, ever, seen the Hannity TV show.

Surely you have the capability at your fingertips to see the TV aerial on my roof and check out cable records in my area, so don't just sit there.

Go do it!

I have now asked you three times why you claim peace is breaking out between North and South Korea. You refuse to back up your claim.

North Korea has resumed weapons grade uranium production, produced its first hydrogen bomb two years ago, produced its first ICBM that can reach the USA, murdered the dictator's brother in Malaysia and so on.

All that North Korea has done is send back some body remains, to buy time, as its old nuclear test facility at Punggye-ri collapsed in September 2017 and it's new test facility won't be ready for another year.

I suggest to you that the South Korean government is attempting to take over engagement of North Korea, from the USA's president. That way it doesn't swing from "Rocket boy" to "I have made peace in our time", when in fact nothing has happened at all. North Korean artillery is still more important than its nukes and it's artillery is aimed at South Korea. :D

It would be the height of stupidity for NK to even downsize their attack capability at this stage.

The US only has one motivation - the nuke threat. SK still has millions of family ties, and would stand to benefit from a reunification, just as West Germany benefitted from reunification with East.

Newly obtained evidence, including satellite photos taken in recent weeks, indicates that work is underway on at least one and possibly two liquid-fueled ICBMs at a large research facility in Sanumdong, on the outskirts of Pyongyang..........The reports about new missile construction come after recent revelations about a suspected uranium-enrichment facility, called Kangson, that North Korea is operating in secret. Your Washington Warmonger Post article dates from back to June and July.

Two decades ago the chairman of Hyundai Motors and others blamed the US for undermining the South Korean “Sunshine Policy" and the planned Seoul to Moscow railway.

Now, for some unfathomably mysterious reason, the Trump administration is failing to help the Deep State/MIC block reconciliation efforts between North and South Korea, which are causing them to advance faster than the Deep State can keep up with, much to the consternation of neoconservatives such as yourself, but this the ONLY THING that I agree with Trump on.

I disagree with him completely with regard to the Mexican border wall and everything else that he does or stands for that I can think of.

But, at least you neoconservatives agree with him with regard to renewing Russian and Iranian sanctions, escalating US efforts in the Afghanistan and Syrian Wars, and supporting the Saudi and Israeli regimes, which in effect MAKES YOU MUCH MORE OF A TRUMP SUPPORTER THAN I EVER WAS.

Who cares? You've also infiltrated Skeptic.com and what other organizations?

The fact remains that you consistently proselytize a foreign policy that is 100% pure neocon, identical to that of John Bolton.

Well Tom Palven, it would be hard for me to support Donald Trump and be a USA neo-conservative, if I'm not in the USA to support Trump and I belong to a socialist political party. Senility must be a real bummer for you.

Not everyone is so tribal. Greater minds can think beyond party lines, and support individuals of character regardless of which party (tribe) they represent.

Firstly, anyone who chooses to read your link can see that you have never said a word in opposition to US sanctions on Iran, and that that's just pure BS.

Secondly, in your 28,844 posts you have discussed in minute detail US weaponry and involvement in Afghanistan, Syria, Iraq, Poland, Norway, South Korea, and other countries, and then when questioned about your neoconservative views plead ignorance about US foreign policy because you are an Australian. Not only does this not compute, it is just plain silly.

And lastly, any time I've disagreed with US military exercises and intervention anywhere you have jumped in to troll and disrupt the thread with irrelevant disinformation while insisting that US air power plays no role in maintaining the US puppet government in Afghanistan, or that US policy has not been to attempt to impede reconciliation between North and South Korea, and other nonsense.

Pure, unabashed BS.

Poor poor senile Tom Palven.

Australia didn't have neoconservatives. That was the USA as Australia had a socialist government at that time.

Neoconservatism (commonly shortened to neocon when labelling its adherents) is a political movement born in the United States during the 1960s among liberal hawks who became disenchanted with the increasingly pacifist foreign policy of the Democratic Party,

Secondly, You have also forgotten again that I am a member of the Australian Labor Party which is socialist.

Try not to post after sundown when you get more confused.

Isn't claiming that saying "Bolton should remain out of Iran" is the same as saying "The US shouldn't restore economic sanctions on Iran" a stretch, Austin?

Next he can claim that Bolton should remain out of South Korea and that means he's always been for reconciliation between North and South Korea.

Matt is a true-believer in Anglo-Saxon supremacy, and as Eric Hoffer said in The True Believer, 1951, "There is thus an illiterate air about the most literate true believer. He seems to use words as if he were ignorant of their true meaning. Hence, too, his taste for quibbling, hair-splitting, and scholastic tortuousness."

The Afghanistan government was elected in Tom Palven by the people of Afghanistan. The most recent election was 20th October 2018. Set out your evidence that the democratically elected government of Afghanistan is a USA controlled government puppet.

You also previously lied and said that Taliban was the "homeboys" and yet they are controlled by Pakistan's ISI and killed over 200 people to stop any elections happening.

You also claimed that Taliban threw out the Soviets, when in reality, it was the Afghanistan mujahideen who threw out the Soviets. Taliban did not even exist at that time.

Why do you lie so much?

Austin was my friend, who caught you changing your BS claim from "The Fourth Reich Vichy Puppet government of Afghanistan" to "The Vichy puppet government of Afghanistan" to the "puppet government of Afghanistan". You then lied and pretended you hadn't changed anything.
