Flying saucers in Stamford, CT, USA

Post by Monster » Wed Jun 05, 2019 2:59 am

Stamford, Connecticut has public art every summer. One year, the theme was geometric shapes. Another year it was dinosaurs. This year, it's flying saucers.

It looks like there are two types that the artists painted on this year. One is a crashed saucer and the other is a saucer beaming something up. I got a good shot of one of the "beam" saucers but not a good shot of a crashed one, sadly.

Here's the link to the Stamford art page.

I no longer work in Stamford but I still volunteer at the local library, so I saw the flying saucers these past two weeks. I took some photos of them today.

Regarding the geometric shapes art, you can see one of the previous year's art in google street view, here.

I'm fascinated by the way that UFOs always manage to get photographed with such high quality imagery:

Where would you even find a camera like that nowadays?
