New Zealand Skeptics: http://www.skeptics.org.nz/SK:RESOURCES:1001

I think this is fantastic and it's one of my suggested strategies for people who wish to do more than just interact on forum boards and skeptical sites - actually put summations of paranormal / pseudoscientific concepts in neat brochure forms for easy use:
Here are a series of flyers in PDF format which you can print using Adobe Acrobat. If you don't already have Acrobat on your system, here is where you can get it for free.

I particularly like the 'checklist for when you go to a psychic'

Our primer, New Zealand Skeptics, an introduction to critical thinking is available free to libraries and media. Contact us to order your copy.

I think I may just do that. :)

I also know that Skepticalcommunity were working on something similar but I have yet to contact Girl6 on the progress of that... any news, 'people in the rain'?

Brochures from Sense About Science

Post by Kiless » Thu Sep 21, 2006 1:23 pm

Sense About Science is an independent charitable trust promoting good science and evidence in public debates. We do this by promoting respect for evidence and by urging scientists to engage actively with a wide range of groups, particularly when debates are controversial or difficult.

We work with scientists to:
*respond to inaccuracies in public claims about science, medicine, and technology
*promote the benefits of scientific research to the public
*help those who need expert help contact scientists about issues of importance
*brief non-specialists on scientific developments and practices

Some of the highly detailed and informative brochures on their site include:
Homeopathy
Energy Gap Statement - use of fossil fuelsMaking Sense Of Chemical Stories - a summary of the 'detox' lifestyle craze and other myths about leading a 'chemical free life'.
A Public Guide to Peer Review - a guide to asking questions about the information presented in the media.
Bird Flu
