Sooo… everywhere it occurs so long as just one site is being referenced and no matter that it is occurring everywhere all at once, it`s weather, - but when looked at globally it`s global warming? :?

Gord has made a good point, though. Individual data points can be ignored, and should be ignored. In fact, an excellent statistical method is to collect lots of data points and drop the few at each extreme, to get a better picture of reality.

The highest recorded temperature was 10 July 1913 in Death Valley at just under 57 Celsius. That does NOT mean the world is now cooling. We should focus on trends, not extremes.

Our local weather currently is a high of 31° (which feels like 40° due to the humidity during the day) and a low of 13° (which feels like 8° due to the wind during the night), which means everyone will be unhappy no matter what their favourite temperature is.

I am always happy between -5c and 25c... but indeed get grumpy outside of that range. Tomorrow it is predicted that I will be happy for at least a part of the day. :yahoo:

I don't like it to get above 21, unless I'm allowed to be naked. And I'm never allowed to be naked.

I'm nekked on the main floor these days. The basement computer is broken.

Put some clothes on and it might decide to come out of its hole.
