Question for Groening by a reporter:
“Mr. Groening, what do you say to those who still deny the Holocaust?”

Groening:
“Nothing. They are hopelessly lost.”

Hhhhhhhmmmmmm, is it possible that Carlo Mattogno is the greatest scholar the world has ever known?

"We were the first country to attempt and to succeed in rolling back the frontiers of socialism, which is the first cousin to communism. Socialists don't like people to do things for themselves. Socialists like to get people dependent on the state! You never build a great society that way." - Margaret Thatcher

Billy Joel reminds me of my father. He used to play them on Saturdays when we were doing stuff around the house.

LOL I subjected my son to the Fall, the Clash, the Sex Pistols, Flipper, Gang of 4, Wire, Mission of Burma and like that, along with Stax-Volt, Hi Records, Goldwax, and Muscle Shoals "soul." And surf music like Bambi Molesters and Man or Astro-Man? Poor guy. He came out of it well.

I'd guess that my son never heard a single song by Billy Joel. Which helped . . . :)

My Dad used to play Beethoven or Mozart when he was on leave...

Mum liked Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra and best, the skiffle king, Lonnie Donnegan...yayyyyy!

Broadly, I used to listen to anything that was going until year zero...

slade, glitter, quattro, beatles, Carpenters and many other musical wrongs too incorrect to mench (tion). ;-)

When Dad heard me blasting out the Crass 12 incher on Small Wonder records, 'the Feeding of the Five Thousand' and him with his love of Classical, he famously snarled at me :

'You have no appreciation for good music whatsoever.'

I miss my old dear and my Dad...

My father also listened to classical music. And Mississippi delta blues and Texas blues and country blues in general. But just the same loved the Beatles, Johnny Cash, and the Beach Boys, esp Sloop John B.

Hey you can't 'ave that without 'aving this.

I still like to listen to a lot of different things. Discover new things, outwith the narrow confines of what we breathlessly used to refer to in the 70's as, 'the charts.'

That's the one. And Josh White.

My father also loved to play the banjo. Charles Ives, Stravinsky and banjo. Go figure.

One of the absolute US Musical Greats.

Dust pneumony blues.

Never mind the fact that, 'This land is your land,' was sung at Obama's inauguration. That's what makes America great.

This also makes America, well, ok: "Old Man Trump" by Woody Guthrie, early 1950s:

. . . Beach Haven is Trump’s Tower
Where no black folks come to roam,
No, no, Old Man Trump!
Old Beach Haven ain't my home! . . .

I do as well. My father passed away at too young an age. He missed my marriage and the birth of my children. But he did see his other grandchildren.

My father introduced me to all sorts of music. It’s where I get my weird tastes from.

I kinda forgot that Ulster snarler's Stiff Little Fingers B side of At the Edge in 1980 was this odd sad little hypnotic ditty written by the Big Bopper.

The audience in this one look far stranger to me than would have the punx that rocked to 5L4's version.

Johnny Preston...

Face arse, InstantGran and Whatscrap are having a bit of a 'ways of seeing' and 'the Society of the Spectacle,' crisis at the moment. Facearse has many pictures with only placeholders and surreal text like, 'picture may contain, nature, sky, obsessively compulsive Jew hater,' etc.

But I did manage to extract this beaut of the Velvets. Cleaned up and digitized and rare footage. Contemporary to the Vietnam War and protests and anti wars and such.

"We are still waiting for anyone to rebut the main theme of the article that the decode in question and the numbers it quoted perfectly match those in the Korherr report.

Until such a rebuttal comes to light and goes through peer review the article stands the test of time. And after 10 years since the article was published both Peter (Witte) and I have moved on to other research projects. "
