How is Sessions simply recused but spinning up investigations rather than himself under heavy investigation by Mueller's office?

In a discussion regarding the happenings in the UK, Dumpy's Master was said to have said he won't tolerate treason - when did Donny develop his irrational fear of being poisoned?

Tillerson supports UK findings that Russia is behind the nerve gas attack on former Russian Spy in Britain.

On a totally unrelated note, Trump has been asking the DOD if he could have someone he doesn't like poisoned.

Oh dear! And this morning there are reports that Trump is really, really mad at Devos. Well, it's an ill wind that blows nobody good. Maybe he'll get rid of her. He couldn't possibly find anyone worse for education....or could he? (Pruitt, Wayne Lapierre,...)

Trump hasn't re-tweeted this one, from Tom Rooney (R-FL), member of House Intelligence Committee describing the committee's draft report: "We've gone completely off the rails, and now we're just basically a political forum for people to leak information to drive the day's news. ... We've lost all credibility."

In PA-18, as the tax cut argument seems to have been a non-started for the GOP, Rick Saccone explained last night why to vote Republican anyway:
They say the other side is energized,. Let me tell you, they’re energized for hate for our president. They have a hatred for our president. . . . Many of them have a hatred for our country. I’ll tell you some more — my wife and I saw it again today, they have a hatred for God.”
Because Libtards hate God. Vote for Saccone. Support Trump. (The key themes Saccone's polling has left him with are 1 - culture wars as above, 2 - anti-Pelosi, 3 - against amnesty for "illegals", 4 - former prosecutor Lamb is soft on crime.)

In a stunning epistemological reversal, and unlike with suspected Islamist terror acts or alleged voter fraud or crime data or guns and safety or the black unemployment rate, in the instance of PM May's charges against Russia in the poisoning of the Skripals, Donald Trump says that before reacting we need to "get the facts straight"?!??!?! WTF!?!?!? Facts matter?!?!?! Do NOT tell his inner circle, his supporters, the Internet trolls who circulate CTs on his behalf - and certainly not KAC: this will blow their minds.

Classy as ever, Trump apparently didn't tell Rex of his demise.

It seems that Kelly gave Tillerson a general heads up Friday that Trump wished to make a change.

Then Tillerson was informed of the change by tweet this morning. The State Dept in fact issued an improbable statement clarifying that Rex hadn't spoken with Trump on this at all, that Rex remains unaware of the reasons for his dismissal. that Rex wanted to stay on, and that the first Rex learned of his ouster was via Trump's tweeted announcement.

As you can imagine, the State Dept official putting out that statement has since been canned.

Cohn, Tillerson: "globalist" titans are going down; hard right nationalism reigns even without Bannon.

Trump in a subtext to his comments on Tillerson suggested more maybe facing the ax (without naming names, of course)... media speculation seems to center on McMaster and Sessions.

From WaPo today:
Munyan [photographer, friend of Stormy Daniels] also said Daniels had told him that she once spanked Trump at his request with a copy of Forbes magazine, an anecdote first reported by Mother Jones in January.
Would I be wrong in thinking that Top Dog Donny would not want images (still or video) of him as a submissive in a spanking routine, Forbes or whatever, to be made public?

Trump didn’t give his....”party”.....the heads up:

“I noticed this morning that a group of our Landsberg friends have been given their freedom this morning. These include...Schubert, Jost and Nosske. Schubert confessed to...supervising the execution of about 800 Jews...(referring to the order to clean up Simferopol)...Schubert managed to kill all the Jews (by Christmas 1941). Nosske was the one the other defendants called the biggest bloodhound....

Which is a fair conclusion in the real world.... in Drumpfland, not so much. As long as Kelly keeps giving Trump's ego the over-sized rim job it needs to survive, Kelly is in.

True dat, OTOH I thought he was on the ropes just before the Parkland shooting, for basically making a muck of things, for letting cans of worms get opened, for being despised throughout the West Wing, and for trying to keep Trump on task. There was all that chatter about Trump's having had it with Kelly, and damn the walls were closing in from all sides.

CNN (https://www.cnn.com/2018/03/13/politics ... index.html) handicapping this - pretty clear whom they think gets the boot next:

1. Jeff Sessions "Mr Magoo"
2. Jeff Sessions
3. David Shulkin - ethics violations went public
4. H.R. McMaster - globalist, kick upstairs back into military
5. Ryan Zinke - ethics violations went public
6. Scott Pruitt - ethics violations went public
7. Ben Carson - ethics violations went public
8. John Kelly - war with Javanka, "ham-handed handling of the Rob Porter debacle and the resultant news coverage" - OTOH he's a "general"
9. Betsy DeVos - "60 Minutes" interview but who cares?
10. Jim Mattis - "suicide pact" with Tillerson and Kelly; otherwise apparently in good standing

and so it goes, from CNN:
President Donald Trump's longtime personal aide John McEntee was fired because he is currently under investigation by the Department of Homeland Security for serious financial crimes, a source familiar with his firing told CNN. . . .

Minutes after news of his departure broke, the Trump campaign announced McEntee would be joining the reelection effort as a senior adviser for campaign operations.

My first thought on reading the news was "they shoot horses, don't they?" Janet Rubin had the same idea, entitling her write-up of the occasion, "Tillerson is put out of his misery."

The CIA pick is tied up with the CIA torture regime - wonder if the Dems will pull punches in confirmation hearings . . . I think we're moving toward a bit of a war cabinet. E.g., Bolton to NSA to replace McMaster, then what? Richard Spencer for DOJ after Sessions goes down?

NY Mag:
Washington was scurrying to analyze his successor, Mike Pompeo, a former Kansas congressman who has most recently served as CIA director. Pompeo is viewed by many as a more traditional Republican hawk, who will be tougher on Russia and Iran than Tillerson, whose previous career had included oil deals with both. Pompeo will be succeeded at the CIA by his deputy, Gina Haspel. A career officer, she gained notoriety for her reported leadership of one of the CIA’s notorious “black sites,” interrogating prisoners with techniques that constitute torture under U.S. and international law, and overseeing the destruction of videotapes of the interrogations.

BTW, CNN agrees with you on the triumph of nationalists over globalists:

Bannon even sent a hearty tweet about it.

That whole “nationalist/isolationist” worked out so well the last time, it’s due for a do-over.

Back to the “nationalist/isolationist” theme, throwing over an alliance that lasted over 70 years is another indication that Trump does not care about such things, it’s tine for a new order that cares more about the feelings of a very hostile neutral over a valued ally.
