There's a youtuber who makes videos under the name "Lawful Masses". When they got some hats made, the story goes, the manufacturer failed to adequately attach the first letters of both words, leaving them with hats that read "awful asses".

Probably not a true story. But I like it.

Seen at left is a primitive mango. Right: An evolved mango. Selective pressures in its environment have caused it to develop intelligence, and a face.

This proves Darwinian evolution (Or at least, Lamarckian evolution) is true.

Over hundreds of years of mangoes being picked up by Humans, those with faces were often discarded because they were just too creepy to eat. Over time, in areas of high Human predation, mangoes with faces became more numerous.

As time went on, the faces became refined with large, gem-like eyes to appear cuter, and some even developed modified stems to look like little pink footies.

Seen below are examples of evolution favouring the thing less likely to be picked up and eaten, and evolution refining birds' heads.

Clearly, evolution can put a bird's head on a mango, and has done so.

(Not really sure how you guys will take this...)

My adblocker isn't keeping me from seeing the mango bird thing.

Could it be because Wordbird used img instead of imgfit?

Something I saw on a major news website. It was . . . kind of dumb, to put it politely.

I wonder what the original story was. That link apparently goes to a page that posts headline stories that change constantly.

How about an "unfunny" image thread?

Randy Glasbergen's work would feature prominently in my opinion.
