The reports of the conditions for migrant children at the border should shock all of our consciences. Those created in the image of God should be treated with dignity and compassion, especially those seeking refuge from violence back home. We can do better than this...

whatever helps keep the holocaustic crowd less so is fine by me.

Its interesting that the non-single issue driven people can't keep a thread on Trump going and are captured by the more obsessed smaller group. Just like politics.........or any other "group dynamic."

So........would there now be two Trump threads in the HD subforum or would one be combined with the other?...and why do that???? I say One Trump Thread per all subforums should be the rule.

................and I'm told I don't understand Democracy! Ha, ha:

The amazing thing about the Seal story:
- Trump, the guy who supposedly sees the seal more than anyone didn't notice.
- Trump's handlers didn't notice, or they would have done something
- many in the audience definitely DID notice, but didn't tell anyone ...

As a change up, I've had Faux Spews on my second tv with sound off and closed captions on. Its like a portal to "opposite world." I do this about twice a year..........I think.......its simply getting worse, more outrageous, more completely unhinged from reality. the last example I noticed: complaining about bias because 14 out of don't know prosecutors had contributed or worked for the Hillary campaign. OK........cleaver..... as this raises the issue if not the fact of at least an appearance of possible bias. Then I wonder: "so what." Would such a bias even if overtly present help or hurt a viable and appropriate inspection of the various targets? THE TARGETS who pled or were found guilty of the violations of law that were established? aka: a big fat "SO WHAT!!!!"

Deomonstrating the power and limitation of dog whistles. You find a formulation of words that with any second look don't mean a thing. So, the Trumpsters get erections when confirming that the Mueller team was biased as filled with hillary supporters. Lets give money to Trump then to keep america Free. But....the biased Hillary team did catch guilty people. What pray tell is wrong with that?................Never asked.....not even on the left liberal news sources.

Laura Ingram made a point over $30 Million spent in the prosecution. KNOWING and still reporting that DOG WHISTLE that is completely misconstrued given that expenditure resulted in $40 Million in recovery.........mostly from Manafort I assume. Thats a thing with RGULATION and prosecution. Most studies I have seen show a postive return. IE: for every dollar spend by IRS in enforcement.......some 5-6-7 Dollars are recovered. Seems to me one of the most "conservative" profitable/righteous things a people serving gubment could do is to over fund IRS and other enforcement agencies until the ROI approached 1:1? I know: will never happen.

Ha, ha..........ALL THE NEWS should be on closed caption, and then: I should direct my gaze elsewhere.

The Turdle's former staffers were lobbying heavily for it...
Image

Treasury sanctioned Deripaska, a former business partner of onetime and now convicted Trump campaign chief Paul Manafort, in April 2018. The sanctions targeted so-called oligarchs believed close to Putin and were designed to punish him for subverting Western democracies.

Treasury reversed itself unexpectedly in December, lifting the sanctions because it said Deripaska had significantly reduced his stake in Rusal’s parent company. The decision was puzzling because the other major shareholder in En+ is VTB Bank, a Russian bank still under U.S. sanctions since Russia’s invasion and annexation of Crimea in 2014. Both had been sanctioned due to their ties to the Kremlin, leading to questions about Treasury’s decisions.

...concern raised...over an investment in the aluminum mill by...Russian firm...Rusal’s investment in Kentucky came months after Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Kentucky, helped defeat a House-approved measure to keep the sanctions on the Russian entities...McConnell told reporters last month that his action was “completely unrelated to anything that might happen in my home state.”
