Stupid Republicans....captured by the mindset of industry insiders saying that Trump would burn out. Its only "just now" the establishment recognizes "Trump could win" the nomination. Will Cruz and Rubio continue to fight for second place at tonights debate or will BOTH of them train their attack on the leader as they should have done months ago? They really do UNDERLINE: Establishment Thinking or non-think anything current. Stuck in the past, thinking that lying to their base will continue to be the winning strategy.

I keep hearing that Cruz and Rubio keep fighting each other for second place and that they will therefore "lose" to the Donald. I prefer to be more positive: Cruz or Rubio will certainly "WIN" what they are after: second place. ............ Ha, ha...... Oh to live in a world where we get what we want.

It seems to me Cruz is twisted but smart... he just chose to run Bush's/Carl Rove campaign and gin up the base but he missed the curve is lower than he thought and Trump grabbed the "anger" component of the evangelical vote. A fair and reasonable mistake to have made. Trend lines are like that: going down, going to cross, but no one knows when.

Rubio strikes me as an empty suit. Smart enough to easily train, not smart enough to think for himself. Not even good VP material. Saw Ivanna Trump on Good Morning Joe. I was very impressed by her. Good bones.

Yep. thanks. Politics is "funny." In my experience, only one person brought his spouse to an interview for a job. He was immediately rejected for doing so.

Politics. F-ed Up from the word..... go!

Ha, ha. I'm referring to his current wifey. Gorgeous, educated, classy, intelligent, independent, good supporter. No.... I don't actually care enough to get their names straight. They all look like clones of one another anyway. Good clones. But clones nonetheless.

Rick Perry getting interviewed on the pre-show. He did not say "oops" at any point.

Fun fact: I once tweeted at his campaign manager back in 2012, and got a reply!

People have been talking it up about Cruz's lack of charisma, and I will admit that he comes off as a total douche, but I find Rubio to be a far worse speaker, he seems to be shaky and timid,

Carson: we need to focus on the issues

Kaitsch: Go for your dreams, shoot for the stars, you can do it! Strikes a very warm and inspirational tone.

Rubio stumbles over his words.

Cruz: really pumping up his Texas roots and jacking up the hometown advantage.

Trump: "we don't win anymore, in any capacity" "our borders are like Swiss cheese" "we are gonna win again" "there will be a big difference."

This debate on immigration harkens back to a very similar discussion four years ago between Rommny and Gingrich. IIRC Gingrich, in a true stopped lock moment sounded positively sane on immigration.
