xouper, I'm impressed.

The full version is, red pinko commie bastards. :D

Ayn Rand knew something that the average run of the mill freedom hater cannot grasp. That Socialism, Communism, and Fascism, for the common man are all the same. They do away with his freedom, the thing he most values.

It is at the same time this ability to cut through the crap on the part of the common man, that prompts the intellectual elite to declare him to be a moron.

That's the old America. Today, the chief business of the American people is delusion.
Here's another example where you are talking about all Americans, not just some of them. Your previous claim that you never do this is clearly a lie. You are a troll AND a liar.
Sigh. Imagine, on a forum as august as this, needing to point out something as obvious as this:

Coolidge says that the chief business of Americans is business; no one would be so dim-witted as to construe that he means that all Americans are businessmen. One may say that Coolidge was speaking about trends or statistical averages or some such view of the American scene. The sentence that you pretend to find so objectionable is precisely the same as that of Coolidge, except for the word "delusion" substituted for "business." Xouper, I await with bated breath your excoration of Calvin Coolidge as a troll and a liar.

Little Xouper, why don't you give it a rest? No one except yourself interprets language in such an absurd fashion; by doing so, you merely render yourself ridiculous. If you expect your rhetoric to have the effect you intend, you should cover your naked rancour with at least a thin veil of elementary logic.
little xouper wrote: Phlegmak is correct in calling you a racist in another thread. "You are a classic racist, except instead of hating whites or Jews, your group you hate is Americans."
As is so often the case with Americans, Phlegmak and Little Xouper are incapable of distinguishing derision from hatred. (See, Phlegmak and Little Xouper, I am not saying that all Americans have no sense of humour, just you and Americans like you)

By the way, I like the new nickname you've given me. Thank you. Reminds me of Little Richard, one of my favorite artists from the 1950s. I wonder if I could change my username on this forum to Little Xouper. That would be cool.

Why am I not surprised that you fantasize about how others here look.

At least you are consistent in preferring superficial appearance over fact.

By the way, in case you missed it, I did not choose just any image of Little Richard. I carefully chose one that said "numan, you're being stupid again." Take another look at it. He's looking right at you, numan, and we all know what he's thinking.

Canadian chopper was shot down by small arms fire in Afghanistan

A Canadian Forces Chinook helicopter was struck by small arms fire, forcing it to make an emergency landing Thursday in dangerous Panjwaii district, west of Kandahar City, Canadian Forces confirmed Saturday.
Just a reminder that America is not the only country with military operations in Afghanistan. Fortunately there were no Canadian fatalities in this incident.

Anyway, here's another opportunity to again thank numan for his Canadian tax dollars that buy American made military aircraft, such as the above mentioned helicopter, the Boeing CH-47 Chinook. Looks like Canada will be needing to buy another one soon.

I liked the reaction of one person to the above quote:

"If we, the American public, be truly simian, Hollywood moguls and their ilk have helped devolve us further."

Notice the proper use of the subjunctive --- so rare in the grunts and hoots of American speech.

Boatload of migrants a wake-up call for Canada

Ms. Chow pointed out that when Canadian officials have turned away a ship with passengers seeking asylum in the past, the results have been tragic. After the Komagata Maru was turned away from Canada in 1914, British soldiers shot 26 of the vessel’s passengers upon its return to India.

And in 1939, Canada refused admission to more than 900 Jews fleeing Nazi persecution aboard the St. Louis. The ship returned to Europe and most of its passengers died in concentration camps.

Prime Minister of Canada Stephen Harper deluged with angry emails over refusal to allow audit of MPs' expenses
http://www.cbc.ca/cp/national/OG1339.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Sunday, August 15, 2010 | 1:40 PM ET
Canadian Press Dean Beeby, The Canadian Press

OTTAWA - Prime Minister Stephen Harper's inbox was deluged last May with hundreds of angry emails from citizens outraged that MPs wouldn't allow the auditor general to scrutinize their expenses.

. . . The tsunami of electronic vitriol was sparked by the refusal of an all-party committee of the House of Commons to accede to Auditor General Sheila Fraser's request to audit the books of the lower house, including the expenses accounts of MPs.

. . . All of the rest, many from Conservative supporters, expressed shock that a government elected on a platform of transparency and accountability could be so hypocritical.
Here are some actual quotes from disgruntled Canadian voters whose names are removed under privacy rules:

"The Conservative Party won't get one more cent from me unless that happens — now."

"Next time I receive a phone call of those folks who say 'I am phoning on behalf of the prime minister Harper' and ask for money I will certainly tell them where to go."

"Can you please try to move this country further away from the banana republic it is? What is the problem? Are the greasy little MPs complaining?"

I do think that Canada has the monopoly on sandpaper production, which I tend to buy a lot of. It's starting to get better, but can you folks start making it a little more durable? I mean, it shouldn't tear this easily just from hitting a splinter. Thanks, Guys.

Dear, oh dear! Americans have such narrow, literal minds, no sense of humour, and are as prickly as cacti ! So quaint! It must be from their lack of education and unawareness of culture.

May I suggest that you wipe the foam off your mouth with a little of my 3-ply, soft as a cloud, Canadian toilet paper?

Please reply when you capable of perceiving something said tongue-in-cheek---since I suppose that understanding the nuances of the phrase in literary tradition is far too much to expect from you.
Sorry, nuuuman, but because you have a long standing and solid reputation as an anti-American bigot, you cannot retroactively hide behind the facade of tongue-in-cheek. You have not earned that benefit of the doubt. In fact you have long since destroyed all benefit of the doubt.

More clunky, unimaginative, low-brow rhetoric.

Neither man nor woman can be worth anything until they have discovered that they are fools. This is the first step toward becoming either estimable or agreeable---and until it is taken, there is no hope.
