"Guests," aka anyone not logged in, do not have permission to view avatars or some of the other perks of membership.

The flash of light you saw in the sky was not a UFO. Swamp gas from a weather balloon was trapped in a thermal pocket and reflected the light from Venus.

I suspect what you're seeing is this. The only user who can see your avatar alongside your posts is you. I currently don't see your avatar next to your posts, but I see Mystique when I click on your name and look at your profile. So you can see your avatar when you're logged in, but when you log out, you're no longer seeing your posts as your own user. You're seeing them as a guest user. And thus, can't see the avatar of the A-number user. Does that make sense?

Hmm. Everybody who is logged in should be able to see all avatars.

That is because A-Number's profile is set to private.

There are 3 settings. Open, Block all but friends, Block ignored users.

I just set my status to non private and I still can't see it when signed off but I can see Monster, Gawdzella, Zusss, etc.

Thank you anyway.

Yep, I still see no detail to the right of your posts. No avatar, no post count, nothing. Just your name and the title "Has More than 5k Posts".

I'll keep checking on things. The forum permissions system is a bit challenging at times.

A-number, I added you as a friend, and now I can see your post count. So you have the "Block all but friends" option turned on. This thing, that Pyrrho said:

And you should add the Mystique avatar back and just leave it.

I can't see anybody's avatars on Tapatalk. But all kinds of images get messed up on this forum with Tapatalk.

I do not like Tapatalk for several reasons. I am considering installing a mobile style template and removing Tapatalk entirely.

I'm not a big fan of Tapatalk either so a mobile version would be nice.

I've installed an adaptive style named "we_clearblue". If you mobile users could give that a try and let me know how it goes, I'll add in the various alterations that I've added to the other styles (such as the "thanks" stuff and a couple of other things that escape my memory at the moment.).

Seems to work fine on desktop and mobile devices...at least on my Android tablet anyway.

I may or may not leave in the hot air balloons. Somehow they seem appropriate for an Internet forum.

It works for me as well but could I make a request? Can we update the color scheme to match the normal Skeptic2010 theme? Also the banner at the top with "Board indexFAQSearchThe teamMembers" is formatted poorly on this new theme.

Yeah I know a guy what can do that thing for you. Might be today, might be tomorrow, who knows? If you could be more specific about what you mean by "formatted poorly," that would help. A screen shot would help also.
