Was the disappearance of Ashley, Kansas true?

Hey guys just found this creepy pasta story. http://creepypasta.wikia.com/wiki/The_D ... ey,_Kansas

Does anyone know if there is any truth to the "disappearance of Ashley, Kansas". There proponents say it was true, but all they have is the creepy pasta story, not any evidence given by police or anybody else. Everybody in Kansas says they haven't heard of "Ashley" and there was never any reported earthquake in that area. The other thing is that the creepy pasta and one questionable video are the only ones making claims. I would think there would be more uproar like many famous paranormal cases instead of a single creepy pasta story making unproven claims. And considering how they use an undocumented phone call as evidence, even though the author most likely didn't have access to it.

I'm saying this one is debunked, since there was no investigation done by the feds., it was only a creepy pasta story, there were no other reports of it except the story, Ashley is still a real place today and no earthquakes were reported.

Anyone else heard of it or debunked it?

looked it up a bit more there actually is no town of Ashley (or I can't find it in the clutter of paranormal articles) and they make the claim that an earthquake was reported, but there is no sign of that. Also no investigations done and only claimant is the creepy pasta story. DEBUNKED

Nope, there never has been an Ashley, KS.
Also, there were only three earthquakes in the US in 1952:
  • April 9: El Reno, Oklahoma - M 5.5
  • July 21: Kern County, CA - M 7.3 Fatalities 12
  • August 22: Kern County, CA - M 5.8 Fatalities 2

Thanks for the extra info. I was just debunking a few creepypastas. Even though they are all fictional stories some people actually believe them.
