Even you, AC - even you - must be able to see the comedy in that.

The Russians didn't have modern camcorders in 1969.

Lesson No7#: When looking at historical "woo" films keep a lookout for anachronisms on screen. This allows you to determine the earliest date the film was faked.

For example, if you a film of Hitler listening to a transistor radio you would know it was a fake film.

An anachronism "is an inconsistency in some chronological arrangement, especially a chronological misplacing of persons, events, objects, or customs in regard to each other"

Forgotten? No.
Ignored? Yes.

So you have seen this before?

Ok I'm not an expert in the history of video and recording, but what are the mistakes that make it seem out of time. What about the dissapearence of the crew, and you can see the reaction of a couple's daughter watching it for the first time in disbelief.

I think there is also another episode that is also hosted by Roger Moore.

But the video footage, the secret documents that have been shown, newspaper articles about the missing group (that is shown on video). Spooky.

No

1) The uniforms are not old KGB foreign service, but 1990s military uniforms from a props department bought in an army surplus store. The Russian military intelligence agency is the GRU. The foreign service of the old KGB foreign service didn't have a uniform as it is a spy agency.
2) Neither the KGB or GRU send out its boys & girls wearing on field trips, wearing any uniforms anyway for obvious reasons.
3) The old foreign service of the KGB does not waste time looking for aliens and in 1961 in Egypt, was more interested in the upcoming Arab Israeli wars and watching other foreign agencies.
4) The video is about promoting a book which I already warned you was a "tell' that the film is bogus.
5) We know how the Egyptians built the pyramids from their own wall relief paintings made at the time. The other experts who don't know this in your video are modern TV actors.
6) The secret Dalnegorsk UFO crash site footage is a complete joke also shot on video tape.
7) Why would a KGB courier have "open language" copies of the documents he was carrying? Do postmen photocopy all the mail they delivered back in 1961?

This a a cheap TV show and about as real as Star Trek

Bare in mind that in the other episode it shows that after the break up of the U.S.S.R many state secrets were sold on the black arket and the producers bought the film themselves, checked its authentification and concluded they were geniune. I just can'tsee how it's all a hoax.

It's a hoax because it's been clearly faked! The costumes are wrong, the acting is terrible, the budget was obviously poor, and the storyline makes little sense. It appears to be a commercial, and advertisement, designed to intrigue people so they'll buy the book.

The logical conclusion is that the producers either hoaxed it themselves, or they bought it from whoever hoaxed it -- either they were easily duped, or know it's a hoax and want to make money from it.

Complete crap. You are acting stupid on purpose. It is not film but video tape from the wrong period. The uniforms are from the wrong period. How did the producers check the authenticity? Did they ring up Boris Yeltsin?

Lesson 8# "Cheap video production video effects include "scratchy film effect". This makes the video jump every now and then like film going through a projector/camera gate and adds a repetitive regular series of scratches to the video. The fact that the scratches are regular indicates it is a cheap special video effect. In addition video has a very different contrast and colour to film which is why video is "graded" before going onto television. The video you have linked is "el cheapo" and it fails to fake film.
