Thanks, Tom…
I'm so glad to learn more about what it is possible (or not) for me, in my Troll Role.. to actually manage to get done (or keep others from doing..).
I wonder though, how does the system work for those who use the "troll" word as threat to interfere with the freedom of others to speak…
For instance how would you defend yourself if I started to spread the word that your interest in information management is merely trolling disguised as concern?

Skepticism:

Your fanciful card games, movie sojourns and exciting overseas trips, that all take place within the four walls of an aged care retirement home, do not suggest your own children offered you the care, I gave my parents."

LOL..
Rest easy… it's not my style….
I'd have to have at least a minimum of evidence before spreading gossip.
It's the skeptical thing to do.

How to Defeat Disruption on the Internet

1. Get people fighting against each other...

Well, that's a wrap.

Does your thread disruption by juxtaposing things out of context count as a #12?

Not sure what # could be assigned to my tinny voice chiming in, but I remembered Daedalus posting these a while ago. :-P

I think that both of the sites you posted were worthwhile. They examined individual personality traits that we all probably have to one degree or another, with some of us, for example, being much more passive aggressive, or aggressive than others.

But, the original post seems to have more to do with premeditated, purposeful, and sometimes organized, trolling to control discussion to promote Orwell's pc "Goodthink," or something of that nature, and to sidetrack "Badthink."

I don't see your post as attempted sabotage. :posting:
