Baby Eichmann, Vecino Eichmann

Postby nmblum88 » Thu Sep 18, 2014 4:03 pm

Stangneth, Bettina , Eichmann Before Jerusalem: The Unexamined Life of a Mass Murderer with fascinating emphases on he early life, AND the post WW II activities in Argentina involving a world-wide network of associates…
An always interesting subject, and a work reviewed for some strange reason on as response to Hannah Arendt's suggestion of "the banality of evil.""
Not necessarily so, but a a thoughtful read (especially valid now as we are once againsubjected daily to glimpses of once unimaginable acts of deliberate contempt for human life) …… a look into the abyss where the worst of our human possibilities reside.
One of the tacit morals to this we'll researched biography, which can't help leading the reader to ponder it deeply:
Parents!! If you can't love your children, either give them away or dispose of them early, before they get to do their own damage in the world!!
At the very least try, try, TRY…. to refrain from telling them that they are stupid: the results of such parental influence are unendingly toxic.

Your fanciful card games, movie sojourns and exciting overseas trips, that all take place within the four walls of an aged care retirement home, do not suggest your own children offered you the care, I gave my parents."

And even if you can love them, still, please, consider it. Because all children are evil.
