She's earned the right to do that by being around long enough and being reasonable and coherent... most of the time.

I disagree. Its about providing BASIC information of use to the community. It has NOTHING to do the nature of the poster, and EVERYTHING to do with the SUBJECT of the link.

You see the difference?

I sense that your indignation is genuine, righteous.
And that you really feel some manner or right is being violated here.
And moreover, violated by ME.

But alas, often what we imagine we are asserting as a right, can be interpreted by others as the indulging of a mere tantrum.

However, as whatever imaginary injustice or oversight you are complaining about is unlikely to be ameliorated by me, may I suggest that great old American standby: get ye a lawyer?

I sense that your indignation is genuine, righteous. /// Its hardly "indignatin." Far less. A hint to the wise that you could, and should, do so much better.

P.S. … Of use to WHAT community? // Here...at skepticforum.com
Where community? /// See above....are you babbling?
How community? /// Yes, definitely babbling.
Perhaps .. is it possible… that you have "community" mixer up with "message board?" /// No. The community here at the skeptic forum. Perhaps the confusion is on your part....whatever it is you think you are doing.

Oh, oh!!
I think I'm beginning to see the light: Jim Jeffries (and by extension , I) may not be skeptical enough for a skeptics forum for which you are the spokesman,

Got it!
GOT IT!!!
And surely something can be done to diminish my (and Jim Jeffries) threat to the standards of your community.
But what?…..Let me think…

Will this help?

Hope so… but of course you must be allowed to listen to it first before you reply.
Take your time.

TJ--whose wrong? I can make the argument either way at any statement....well, except for Laustens. But he's just trying to dogpile. And ... being wrong is fairly easy to do, but I also miss the "great words." Those are rare.

Inquiring minds want to know............

Oy.
Irony.
Satire.
Jim Jeffries is a comedian …C-O-M-E-D-I-A-N: he doesn't occupy a seat on SCOTUS.
And in the absence of a Voltaire, a Swift, Mencken, Orwell, Vonnegut, our comedians are the most cogent social satirists we have.

P.S. And he did say "please…"

Thank you, Lausten....yes, I evaluate all sides and decide which one is best for which aspect under discussion. Its called....thinking. Try it.

So...I clicked on the Link. First 3 minutes were funny...always nice to have a comedian mock those we disagree with. But 90 minutes? I got things to avoid doing.

In that second link - he was referring to religious nutters with those words.

It has indeed, Norma. As far as words of Yiddish origin are concerned, it comes immediately before oy (vey). There's a lot of logic hidden in Yiddish, I see :D

Here is a for instance:

"Link is to a 90 min video featuring comedian xxx who provides some good laughs at the expense of gun nuts and the conservative mind set." I invite you to enjoy it as much as I did.

You know: an invitation. Not a box with a hole in it asking people to stick their hand in there and tell me what you think it is.

EVERYONE should do it. Its just being polite...and informative.

Because Bobbo is the first person I would go to for a lesson on being polite and informative. ;)
