Do we need to talk about that dreadful Google Earth pict of the boat? No. But here is a little walk down memory lane for the beloved Nessie.

I sort of saw it. Once. When I squinted.

The resolution of web photos seems too low. Because, now I can't see it at all.

That's funny - I always see the dog with the stick but assumed that was an illusion/coincidence. I might be able to show it - let me see if I can work some quick wizardry... I'm trying to get ready for Dragon*Con.

I'm not saying it is a dog. Who knows? But that does look a bit like a dog.

Here's the non-blinky version:

Now I see nothing but the dog.

However, I'm not convinced. It's a blobject. Compared to the water ripples, it looks huge. Like 20-40 ft. long.

More Loch Nonsense

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article ... maker.html

At least they didn't call it a "dinosaur".

I kept thinking, other than integrity, what might stop a museum from hauling in visitors by displaying something that might be the LNM?

What bugged me about that story, other than the vagueness (That could be a book title) was the photo they included.

Subtitle on photo says "The most famous picture of the Loch Ness Monster" - um, no.
I think not.

They're thinking of "The Surgeon's Photo" but that looks like this:

or this:

Not quite the same.

Hello to all. I've been to Lock Ness serveral times, even taken a dip in it, but no sightings of Nessie have I had. Diffrent groups of people have been all over and under that lock and found zippo. It's a nice mystery though.

Have you seen the movie Hellboy? The marine man in it had glasses just like your avatar.

All I can see in that pic is some white which I assume is the wake of a small boat?

I have seen the movie but I don't recall the glasses. The avatar is my daughter trying on some googly glasses. I love it.

Well, that pic was taken several years ago. You should see the loot she brought in last night from Halloween. Most kids today are spoiled. Denialists call them "indigo children".

Indigo with cherubic smiles and outdigo with a bag of loot?
