A little off topic, but why do all you skeptics keep encouraging gorgeous?

As a young bloke growing up I quickly learned that when someone teases/stirs you and you bite back with some answer you thought was brilliant, they just keep teasing you. That's how they get their kicks. And I'm sure that gorgeous, whoever he, she or it is, is getting off every time we bite back.

Don't know that she, he or it would go away if we just ignored it, but would probably give up eventually. But maybe you all like to have a bit of fun with it.

Getting back on topic, as Lance has iterated, there is no scientific proof that this phenomenon exists.

It is a popular item in black magic novels such as those written by Denis Wheately, and does add to the drama of good story telling, but perhaps sadly, it is just that - fiction.

Mind you, the idea does have a lot of following around the world. In fact a good friend of mine believes in it, and believes she has experienced it. Then again, she also believes in crystals and faeries. But she is a lovely Lady.

The only reason we're talking about this now is "Dr. Strange". Pop culture, nothing like reality.

gorgeous posts whether you ignore him/her or not.

Not responding to gorgeous makes it look like we just accept the nonsense being posted.

In my case, call it a character defect. I hate Bull dust, and my defective character forces me to oppose it.

And some of the garbage is just too much of a hoot and makes great comedy.

But I still feel that someone so challenged shouldn't be allowed to roam free and 'hurt' themselves over and over again. It seems to be getting its kicks out of it and that's just sick. As so very often, I recommend therapy and treatment.

Gorgeous is the superpowerful result of being bitten by a radioactive cockroach. Therapy and treatment will avail naught.
