Why are you talking to yourself, Gawd?
What are the facts? Again and again and again-what are the facts? Shun wishful thinking, ignore divine revelation, forget what “the stars foretell,” avoid opinion, care not what the neighbors think, never mind the unguessable “verdict of history”--what are the facts, and to how many decimal places? You pilot always into an unknown future; facts are your single clue. Get the facts!

A repellent that doesn't repel is not a repellent, it's a decoration.

I find that strangely repelling.

I once worked with a lady that wore so much perfume (technically an attractant), that it burned my eyes from three cubicles away. I found that repellent.

Eventually, we all agreed someone had to say something. And someone quietly did. And to her credit, she stopped bathing in a bucket of Oh the Toilet every morning.

She probably got desensitized to it, losing the ability to determine how much to use.

I don't know what's worse. I worked with a guy that always stunk of BO. We called him Stinky Dave. Everyone. To his face. That was his name. Stinky Dave. How's it going, Stinky Dave! Hey, Stinky Dave, pass me those callipers. What did you do on the weekend, Stinky Dave? I dunno, go ask Stinky Dave.

People left cans of deodorant on his desk.

They guy was absolutely impervious. Never took the hint.

Well, actually he did. After years...

I knew a guy who stank after eating garlic, onions, that kind of thing. The odor came out from his sweat glands. This was when I was in the Navy and it wasn't a problem when you have gale-force blowers weakly attempting to keep you coolish in an engineroom.

I have an acquaintance who bathes in her cologne. She also makes the duck face in all her selfies. I know that correlation is not causation, but...
