8 people packed into 0.3 Square Meters

Postby Aaron Richards » Fri Jan 26, 2018 2:33 am

My favorite ex-revisionist Charles D. Provan proved how you could cram 8 people into such a tiny amount of space without anyone asphyxiating or getting crushed. Of course, keep in mind they were all in-the-know and therefore calm and not panicking:

My question is, are there better images of Provan's experiment? These scans look awful in quality.

Sergey is the one you would want to ask, if some of my assumptions about the website are correct.
« Yes, that may surprise some people, including my colleagues. But have no illusions. I never compelled anybody to work for me, just as we didn't compel the German people. They themselves gave us the job to do. Why did you work with me? Now, you'll have your little throat cut...but the earth will shake when we leave the scene... »

Provan is dead so it's unlikely.

What about images from a Tokyo subway during rush hour?

Provan did give the caveat that most people in the gas chambers would've been small children, and that European Jews at the time were shorter than healthy Americans in the 90s.

He also examined Gerstein's specific statement in which it was claimed that half of the victims on that occasion were children.

While this is not generally applicable, this shows that things that are hard to visualize are nevertheless possible.

On the subject of adults alone:

As to physical capacities, it is worth remembering that the current construction regulations in the German Federal Republic for public transport (streetcars) envisions a density of eight adults, each weighing 65 kg., per one square meter.

As a side note it's quite possible that Piper over estimates the size of the red house.

...another case of the problems people have with estimations. The fact is, people were packed into the chambers like sardines. Trying to prove or disprove an event by analysing what are in effect simply estimations is pointless.

I went through this a few years ago by simply looking at contortionists who get themselves into boxes. I don't know the current world record.

By analyzing testimony one can notice specific aspects that render some claims of witnesses wrong. Deniers take a rather legitimate piece of cross examination and abuse it.
