My Time Amongst the Twitter Deniers

Postby Jeffk 1970 » Wed Jun 07, 2017 6:46 pm

So, I joined Twitter a couple of weeks ago after Sergey posted his conversation with one of them.

What struck me immediately is the wide variety of truly stupid people that post on Twitter. Trump-lovers, white nationalists, Israel haters, antisemites, all there to enjoy in their brief, 140 characters of sadness.

The most entertaining is something called T.H.O.T. I don't know if this person is a man or a woman but what they do is post half-naked pictures of girls with little denier memes nestled in....strategic places. It's definitely there to pull in the males. I complimented this person on their cleverness while bashing the memes.

There is someone called Anne Chastain (I'm not revealing anything, she posts using that name) who rants about everything while mixing in the antisemitism. It's like watching a Trumpling on meth.

There is the usual mixture of quickie denier memes...all Bolshevists were Jews, the 4 million at Auschwitz, six million gassed, etc., etc. Really, it's worse than YouTube. Part of it is the need to get the point across in 140 characters while the rest is just sheer ignorance.

On the plus side I now follow the Auschwitz Museum along with a few others like USC Shoah. I even have three followers of my own....

Now, right now Twitter has me in timeout, apparently calling someone a dumbass is frowned upon.
When my son had his barmitzvah, and his wedding, there was no family whatsoever -that’s the way the second and third generation feel the Holocaust, they miss their family. My son hasn’t experienced a family life –having uncles, aunts, grandmothers, grandfathers. There is just that hole.

Twitter is so easy, even idiots can use it. That's why it's overwhelmed by them.

So, Jeffk, questions for you, sir.

Do these folks come up with any new or interesting angles?
Which topics do they most focus on - are there repeating themes?
Where do they get their information, on what are their views based?

Come to think of it, twitter may be so limiting that it's hard NOT to be an idiot when using it.

Nope, they seem like they are reading "The Hoax of the 20th Century," Mary's favorite book.
Though, I did see an article that showed the German Embassy in Ireland paying for a bombed synagogue. I asked this person to list synagogues in Germany, Austria, Poland, France, etc. that the Germans rebuilt after burning or bombing, funny, I haven't gotten a reply......

Which topics do they most focus on - are there repeating themes?

Standard stuff like the World Almanac canard, Auschwitz, Leuchter (that one struck me as odd), Jews were all blood thirsty Bolshevists, etc. I see a lot of pushing the positives of Hitler and the Nazi regime....everything was awesome, Germans were all brothers nobly sacrificing themselves against the Bolshevik hordes, all that sentimental horse crap that makes old Nazis like Fritz Berg weep in their beers.

Where do they get their information, on what are their views based?

Old, hoary, musty, dusty denier memes that Nizkor debunked twenty years ago.

So, taking a stroll through Twitter today I found this silly fellow:

I’m not sure why the “Jewish media” would hide this from us....

Ah... Wearswar... The future of Holocaust denial and apologia written by a guy who has simply copy and pasted from books at least 20 years old.

John and I have been locking swords for around 3 years now. My blog is a rebuttal of his bull {!#%@}!!

Yeah, I got blocked by a denier on Twitter a few months ago.

John hasn’t tired of me yet. I’m sure it’s coming, I just haven’t devoted any really time to him yet.

I never even got the chance to comment. I was too honest and gave my real name. They must have had my name on the "no entry" clip board. A bit hypocritical for someone moaning about free speech.

Let’s face it, Twitter and YouTube deniers race neck and neck for the title of the World’s Stupidest Deniers.

Went back to Twitter for a bit....

Most of it is Israel bashing with a few sprinkles of denial here and there.

To just summarize what the conclusion will be throughout this thread. All Twitter involved deniers brains are made from cork.
« Yes, that may surprise some people, including my colleagues. But have no illusions. I never compelled anybody to work for me, just as we didn't compel the German people. They themselves gave us the job to do. Why did you work with me? Now, you'll have your little throat cut...but the earth will shake when we leave the scene... »

When my son had his barmitzvah, and his wedding, there was no family whatsoever -that’s the way the second and third generation feel the Holocaust, they miss their family. My son hasn’t experienced a family life –having uncles, aunts, grandmothers, grandfathers. There is just that hole.

Nice to know you're talking to such kind people:

They seem to be struggling with spelling Trotskii, but that comes with using twitter.
