Ron Jeremy's rum

Postby Gord » Sun Feb 17, 2013 1:23 am

Ron de Jeremy, "The Adult Rum".

It went on sale here, but there were complaints about it being inappropriate, so it was pulled from shelves while a review was made.

Then it was decided that rum was meant for adults anyway, so the ban was repealed.

...Bottles of rum bearing the name and likeness of adult-film star Ron Jeremy had been removed following customer complaints, said Manitoba Liquor & Lotteries spokeswoman Karen Hiebert, describing the decision to remove the product as a matter of erring on the side of caution.

"We've reviewed the decision and decided to return the product to our Liquor Mart shelves," Hiebert said in a statement. "In this case, we felt there was nothing inappropriate about the product name or its label."

...The product went on sale Jan. 24 but was removed from Liquor Mart shelves nine days later...

It was pulled from the shelf on Feb 2nd, and on the 15th they decided to let it be sold again. Two whole weeks without Ron Jeremy's rum!!

How did he ever become so popular in that business, he isnt someone who could be considered good looking or even "sexy"?

He delivered the pizzas and cleaned the pools.

For one thing, I think that like Peter North and Randy West, he always seemed like a nice guy who liked his job and liked and respected the women he worked with, and was not a mean, macho, son-of-a-bitch.

Dunno. Probably at about age 25, like most of us. :wah:
