I started taking the survey, but I have a cold and am doped up on NyQuil, at the moment, there was no way.

Religion made my family a bunch of chickenshits who are afraid that even questioning what they have been taught will result in not only eternal torture and burning after they die, but a lightning bolt will come from the sky and fry them for questioning what they have been taught.
Religion makes my family defend children being raped by saying, "It's not just Catholic preists who did that." They never seem to condemn their own church for what it did. They ignore it since it didn't happen in the church in the town where we are from.
Religion makes my family intolerant of other faiths, especially hostile towards muslims and if they all knew that I am an atheist, they would {!#%@} themselves and damn me to hell.
They're really good people, but religion {!#%@} them up.

Yes. In their minds, when I die, I will be a crispy critter for all eternity. All because I don't follow their lead and go "baa" like I'm supposed to.

Try to stay out of their minds. That's all I can think to suggest.

Don't take over-the-counter, patent medicines. That way damnation lies!

Be pretty suspicious of prescription medicines, too!
