It is impossible in principle to meddle with elections on Facebook.

Because propagandizing isn't "meddling".

It is what people normally do in the run up to elections in a free society.

Even foreigners are allowed to propagandize in a free country.

Sod Facebook - I've meddled in every election I could by putting a cross on a piece of paper. Call me a political agitator - I don't care.

med·dle

verb

interfere in or busy oneself unduly with something that is not one's concern.
"I don't want him meddling in our affairs"

touch or handle (something) without permission.
"you have no right to come in here and meddle with my things"

Soooo, yeah: It is possible to do it, on Facebook or anywhere else.

"Meddle" in this case does not mean "touch" or "handle." It means interfering with the democratic process.
