Exactly. It's about generating higher dividends for shareholders, by increasing advertising revenue.

The Murdoch family broadcasts right wing propaganda on Fox to sell more advertising in the USA, and left wing propaganda on News Limited, in Australia, to sell more advertising. The Murdochs don't actually care what is actually being broadcast.

I liked the CEO of Sony Records in Australia from ten year ago. He asked every morning "How many plastic discs (CDs) did we sell yesterday?" He didn't give a rat's arse what music was on the plastic discs, only that he sold a lot of them. :D

I would also like to remind people that Gorgeous claims he didn't actually vote in the 2016 US election anyway. He's just hot air and copies his posts off Fox, as he has no mind of his own. :D

fox----Bill Gates donates $4M to create mosquitoes that kill each other using sex-----Microsoft founder Bill Gates is pouring £3million ($4 million) into a project to create killer mosquitoes that destroy each other through sex.

It's a bold bid to curb malaria, a deadly disease typically transmitted through the bite of infected mosquitoes.

Tech mogul Gates will use funds from his own charity organization – the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation – to eradicate malaria "within a generation".

The plan is to create genetically-modified male mosquitoes that mate with their female counterparts in the wild.

Only female mosquitoes bite, so Gates' army of gene-engineered male mosquitoes would be safe to humans.

What's important is that these male mosquitoes contain a self-limiting gene that gets passed onto female mates.

When the females give birth, their offspring will die before adulthood thanks to the gene.

Mosquitoes only start biting people once they're adults, so given enough time, the danger of blood-sucking female mosquitoes could be eradicated.

This means it would be possible to stem the spread of malaria through mosquito bites.

They're developed by a UK company called Oxitec, which has dubbed the creations "Friendly Mosquitos" – although their female mates may disagree.

fox------New York Times details conditions of Obama-era family detention center: 'No place for human beings'------------------The anonymous woman found “no relief” in the United States, where she was held for two months in a for-profit immigration detention center in New Mexico back in 2014.

“The day-to-day conditions were horrible. The food was often expired, the milk was spoiled, and we weren’t provided with snacks for our children between meals,” she wrote.

She explained that sometimes food was thrown out because of concerns regarding rats in her dorm and said children often went to bed hungry, while clean water also was hard to come by.

“It was no place for human beings, let alone for families with small children,” she wrote.

The woman said children in the Obama-era detention center didn’t receive proper medical attention, which she says resulted in at least one death, and staffers talked down to the detainees.

“When one mother whose daughter had asthma informed the officers that her child needed medical care, she was told that she should have thought about that before she came to the United States,” she wrote.

Therez a planet in the Fox universe inhabited by intellectualz - peepl who read books! Its a bad habit thats alarmingly close to the reviled elitizm uv the left, but they want Republican to be a BIG TENT party, so need to hav a plase for the egg hedz.

You coud probably glide thru a Dinesh DeSouza book in a day and hav a solid undertanding uv the entire jenre.

Here iz an article about the Trump sub jenre. At the risk uv sounding like I'm committing the same sin az the sheepl in the Fox universe, Its safer to read this article about the books than soiling your brain with the real thing.

Hmmmmmm........

The Australian Murdoch family own the majority of shares in both Sky News (UK) and Fox News (USA). Both services are carried on different channels on Murdoch's "Foxtel" cable service in Australia.

About a week ago, Sky News advertisements started to be broadcast on the Fox News (US) channel. Sky New UK isn't about Trump.

I think the Murdochs are getting ready for a post Trump environment and realise that have made Fox News USA the "Trump station" and need to prepare to jump ship from Trump.

I suggest we keep an eye for changes in Fox News minor talking heads, after the November elections, as Fox prepares to tone it down on Trump.

Has the word "tribalism" ever been discussed on Fox News? The force behind the wedge that divides two unthinking masses against each other? The instinct that answers in defense of Trump with a frontal attack on Democrats?
I doubt it.

that's exactly it: Limbaugh, Hannity, Trump and the other one think that they could literally make Americans rise up in arms at their command, should they wish to.
But Americans prefer playing soldiers than being some.
