We could make it an annual event, yes. We could call "Pyrrho Bueller's Day Off."

Yeah, I even tried twitter assuming that there was an account for this there only to discover none. Michael Shermer's twitter account was there and so I asked him but due to his popularity, I'm guessing he wouldn't even have time or care to go through all of it and would likely miss my question.

The redirect fix behaves unpredictably, the link to the last post doesn't link correctly, the page anchors are screwed up, and some other things aren't quite right.

I will be going through the code yet again to see what I have done wrong. At some point though it may become necessary to upgrade to the newer version of phpBB. This version is destined for end of life by the end of 2015.

For today, code fixes. Or more breakage, depending on your point of view.

Yeah at this point I've traced it back to when I uninstalled Tapatalk. That affected quite a few files and I am comparing them against known clean originals.

I've refreshed the template and cleared the cache. Seems to be working, at least for me.

Separately, I have run a test upgrade of the forum software and it went well. I will be working on developing versions of the templates that will work in the new version and when they are ready I will be upgrading the software to the newer version. Not sure when that will be. Some time in the next month, probably.
