WHAAAAAT?

Leaving momentarily.  Dropped in for one last look around the place to see if I left anything unanswered.

Nope!    Everything seems to be wrapped up in a nice neat little package!  Try not to let the knot slip while I'm away!

How did you enjoy the lake?
This is weird. It's like I'm talking to someone in the future.

Too late. I beat you to it. I could sell you his stuff at a discount. I got a radio. Used. 20 bucks. TV. Used 75 bucks. Computer. Used 75 bucks. Electric shaver. Never been opened. 5 bucks.

Gord did say he was going "to the lake".   The important thing to discover is whether Gord is
1) Lying on an inflatable mattress floating in the lake, reading Harry Potter while drinking piña coladas from a tumbler with a paper umbrella sticking out the top.

2) Like Actionman, waterskiing with one hand while wrestling an alligator with the other before a vigorous kyaking venture back and forth across the lake to impress canadian local women.

3) Neither of the above.

That's because he wasn't fighting a Panda. It was a fat nun.
I just didn't have the heart to tell him.

Well that explains why Gord was wrestling the Panda from behind using a thrusting method.

Gord is a man of many talents.
Apparently, at least one of those talents is poltergeistry.

Check out post #11. See the "thanks from Oleg" there?  I didn't put it there. :notme:  I scrolled down the thread one evening, using the wheel.  I didn't click on anything. The next time I looked at the thread, that thanks was there. How? The only explanation is poltergeistry.

Or maybe it's JO who has the talent. Its his post.

Oh I see.  You have a problem with fat people do you?  So what if Gord's lake side entertainment is "weight challenged" or shall we say "more in tune with gravity than others".  Gord has simply been careful in his posts not to offend skinny people by expressing  his love of women who conserve energy by having a couple natural layers of insulation.  Gord is helping the environment and we should be thanking him.

Not at all. I was actually trying to imply, although poorly, that maybe a fat nun sounds kinda sexy. Don't look at me like that, you can have your own fantasies.

Thank you From, I can dream it now: she's black and white and making a wet, sucking sound. Ah yes, a toothless, elderly nun eating a Communion wafer.
Makes you want to get your own wafer.

You, my friend, Van, have a proclivity for the wizened. Don't pretend this is the first time you've brought this up. :P

I had more of a plump, naughty nun in mind, late twenties , early thirties. Yes, I'm soon to be a dirty old man.

Yeah, it's like people think that all of a sudden it's a terrible crime to be a dirty old man, but there's some what knows it's just the normal progression from being the typical dirty young man.  And 'ere's to dirty wimmin, everywhere.   :redwine:

Nah, a soaking wet Gordmonster is just too much to contemplate this early in the morn.  Hope he's recharging as well and will be home soon.

I'm laying off partisan politics for a bit and traipsing around Washington state.  All this self-reflection is making me thirsty though ... /*insert coffee mug emoticon*/

Later guys.  Keep a seat warm for me.

I wonder if Gord's fishing. I can imagine him now. Up at the crack of dawn, opening a can of Moosehead, trying to catch a tadpole out of a bucket to bait the hook. Casting, finishing the beer, and taking a nap in the lawn chair.

I might have to go out to the River.
