Whatever it is, it ain't easy: it takes years of self-discipline, intense study, great attention to detail and excellence.
Even devotion to truth and beauty.
Not to mention technical proficiency of a high order.

OR, OR.. it could be your equipment.
Looks good to me…. tried it twice, enjoyed the song.

Me? Not in this lifetime. Maybe in the third or fourth, and then if on DVD and on a rainy day.

The hat is hanging on the nail, and the lonesome whistle blew, but the songs remain forever:

Well, apparently, I'm hot in bed. At least that's what the last two ladies said. Now they're gone they decree, they need another blanket instead of me.

"Mate, When I see he again, he's toast"

"See, you can't reheat sausages. It just doesn't work!"

"He's hotter than a microwave in bed, but also with the same five second timer, before he's finished".

Girl : "Hey Major, I can see you underpants are soaking in sweat"
Major : "That's not sweat. The bathroom is miles away"

I had to add comments. I can't help myself. :D

And there!! Right in the middle of the moody, lucent, eerily beautiful sound track (by Carter Burwell) for what is arguably the Coen Brother's most intelligent, moving and beguilingly filmed movie, is the Irish song of songs.
Sadness at all too final loss, and endless yearning, sung by the majestic Irish tenor, Frank Patterson:

You had a new hot babe girlfriend, only about three months ago. Obviously something went wrong.

Remember, there are plenty of fish in the sea and it's the fish that John West rejects that makes John West the best, So, follow John West around for while, to parties and things like that.

I've got a new one every week, but they don't stick around. Yes, obviously, I'm doing something wrong. Buggered if I know what, tho'. I'm just being me.

So give me some tunes to help regenerate my heart. :P

Currently I'm in my metal phase.
Megadeth-Sweating Bullets, Peace Sells....Who's Buying?
Iron Maiden-666, Wasted Years, Hallowed Be thy Name
Metallica-Frayed Edge of Sanity, Blackened, One
Slayer-Seasons in the Abyss, Dead Skin Mask
Led Zep-The Ocean, Misty Mountain Hop
Alice In Chains-Over now, Again, Heaven Beside You
Black Sabbath-Black Sabbath

I've also swung back into listening to Boston.

I do have eclectic music tastes, I also like Motown, 50's Rock, 80's pop, The Cure. Metal is just what is sticking right now.

Commiserations…
Tough one… but it is in your favor that you do keep on trying.
What, do you think, is the impediment? (I don't think you learned about the female from "the Lagomorph Handbook.")
A certain resistance to monogamy, perhaps? One that lends itself to "leaving' on a jet plane" hanging unspoken in the air?

Or maybe you are suffering from that chronic debility peculiar to the male of the species: Attention-Span Interruptus?

Certainly inconvenient when it comes in conflict with the normal female who needs what may seem to you as exaggerated need for your hearing what she has to say..
"You USED to listen to me…" repeated more than once is a clue that all not going in the right direction.
Listen for it.
Or maybe- just a thought- you are not made for the pleasures of the here and now. Is your past intruding on your present?:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eC9ZAh0_cuo&list=RDeC9ZAh0_cuo#t=1

Or maybe you are simply collecting memories with which to tantalize yourself in your dotage:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j13JwniUs2A

Or you could just do what so many humans unfortunately have to do - settle for less that what you secretly yearn for,.
Which is EVERYTHING.

Beautiful, beautiful.
My brother-in-law, Fihhish, calls ALL Northern European sound either "Abba" (which he hates with a virulent passion) OR "music to commit suicide by." There is, to his mind, nothing in between.
But he is somewhat deaf, so his musical insights are necessarily limited.

I especially love this one:

P.S. I hope it reproduces. I couldn't find a more compatible version.

I didn't realize it was a test…..
But I don't mind: the illustration is .. for sure…a portrait by one of the Flemish Van Eyck brothers.. probably Jan (who had a sense of the bizarre).
It's a Flemish Burgher and his very pregnant (second) wife, with their beloved dog. 17th Century?/
The music?
I dunno.. definitely NOT Flemish. OR Autralian either.. might be German but is more probably American.
Unlikely to be Califrnia, OR Seattle.
Absolutely NOT Houston or Dallas OR Austin.

So American….…Rust Belt, working class roots..Ohio? Maybe Pennsylviania… yeah, perhaps Pittsburgh.

Not a fair test of course: anyone (even one as backward as I) can look up anything in abut 60 seconds now…
Actually listening to that music is s much more difficult.

Jan van Eyck - it's the Arnolfini Portrait of 1434.

Interestingly, it's no longer referred to as the Arnolfini Marriage Portrait as it's no longer thought that she's pregnant, but instead holding up her dress into a 'full' position as was, apparently, all the rage at the time.

She'll probably be pregnant again in five years time.

Now you've gotten greedy, not to mention unreasonable.
I've done enough.
But here's one for you: the context and a translation is all you have to provide.
After listening, of course:
