Why are you so gung ho for nukes? Is it a value you have to provide as much of the good life as possible to the most people as possible as cheaply as possible?.......What if the majority of those people as best as can be established don't want Nukes???

What then?

Bobbo

I am not gung ho for nukes. I am, instead, gung ho for rational thinking and good data. It has annoyed me for quite some time how certain political and moronic organisations have twisted the truth to make nuclear power out to be some kind of demon.

Skip the fuss and go to fusion reactors.

And some damn fool will complain about those, of course.

Our society is nuts on 4,167 issues. You are focusing on Nukes. And you focus by looking at direct and immediate costs and deaths. Leaving out 29 other definite issues of interest to people...... aka .... values. When you call such values "fuzzy" and raise your balls above the discussion....... you really just aren't addressing the relevant factors in the debate. While I agree with you..... it does no good to argue how safe burying the waste is if no one wants it in their back yards.

See the disconnect?

I have never suggested burying waste in someone's back yard. My suggestion was an unpopulated, geologically stable desert, with big dump fees to the people of that nation. Too sensible ?
